It dates from the late 1940's, the label, contract number and corduroy pocket liners confirm this. It has the traditional 6 visible double breasted gold buttons with the anchor motif and two hidden behind the lapels.

Two corduroy lined hand warming pockets and internal pocket with sizing label. Beautiful heavy wool coat created by the Military to the highest specification so you can be assured of a top quality Winter coat. Colour is either black or a very dark navy blue.
