Superb vintage Dunn & Co. Navy blue overcoat with black velvet collar. The colour is darker than the photos, proper navy blue - I have tried to highlight the fabric weave in bright sunlight in pictures 7 & 8. Made in Great Britain from navy blue 100% Pure new wool cloth with a self colour herringbone weave. This is not a normal melton type cloth but a very heavy suit style fabric.

I had one similar a couple of months ago but prior to that I only ever had one similar about five years ago which was made by Aquascutum. Double breasted front, peaked buttonhole lapel with black velvet collar, three button cuff, two flapped outside pockets, two inside pockets, plain back with centre vent, navy blue satin lining with quilting to chest area for added warmth also featuring maroon piping for an added touch of luxury. Coats like this are made big to allow for a suit jacket underneath.

Usually 4"- 6"larger. Pit to pit 21.5" Shoulder seam to shoulder seam 18" Shoulder seam to cuff 25" Length from collar seam to hem 45".

This overcoat is for a discerning gentleman who really appreciates craftsmanship and style. This could be worn to any function in the land and you wouldn't be upstaged by anyone. This is supreme classic British understated style. Fabulous coat can only have been worn once or twice maximum, vent is still tacked closed - spare buttons in pocket.
